April is Alcohol Awareness Month

Did you know April is Alcohol Awareness Month? During the month of April, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division (ABCD) will be promoting safe and responsible alcohol sales, service, and consumption.

Each week in April, ABCD will share information designed to encourage safe and responsible alcohol choices, sales, and service.

Our weekly topics will be:

March 25 April is Alcohol Awareness Month
April 1 Responsible Night Out
April 8 Responsibly Handling Tipsy Customers
April 15 Responsible Alcohol Establishment Best Practices
April 22 Responsible Carding – the ABCs of IDs
April 29 Alcohol Awareness Beyond April

In addition to best practices, tips, and strategies, ABCD will provide weekly posters highlighting the topic of the week. These full-color, print-ready posters will be available on our website during each weekly topic release. We encourage you to share them with your staff and post or hang them in your establishment. The posters are available to order through our web portal under “Order Materials”.

Together, we can provide every Montanan with the tools and knowledge to opt for a good and responsible time.
